Total Quality Management And Performance Of Manufacturing Companies: A Case Of Bidco Uganda Limited.

This study examined the impact of employee involvement, customer focus, and management leadership on the
organizational performance of BIDCO Uganda Limited. A multiple linear regression analysis was employed to
assess the individual and combined effects of these factors on performance. The dependent variable in the analysis
was organizational performance, while employee involvement, customer focus, and management leadership were
the independent variables. The results revealed that all three variables significantly influenced organizational
performance. Specifically, employee involvement showed a positive and significant effect, with a coefficient of
2.542 (p < 0.000), indicating that an increase in employee engagement led to improved performance. Similarly,
customer focus had the strongest effect on organizational performance, with a coefficient of 3.221 (p < 0.000).
This highlighted the importance of customer-centric strategies for driving success in the organization.
Management leadership also contributed positively, with a coefficient of 1.833 (p < 0.000), suggesting that
effective leadership practices were vital for aligning teams with organizational objectives and fostering growth.
The study concluded that employee involvement, customer focus, and management leadership all played critical
roles in improving organizational performance at BIDCO Uganda Limited. Among these, customer focus emerged
as the most influential factor in driving success, emphasizing the need for BIDCO to adopt and sustain customer
centric strategies.
