Publication Policies

Metropolitan International University (MIU) Journals are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence, ethical publishing, and scholarly integrity. Our publication policies guide authors, editors, and reviewers in promoting transparency, originality, and academic responsibility.

MIU Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using similarity detection tools. For academic papers, excluding references and methods sections, a similarity score of up to 15% is acceptable at a maximum; scores above this may result in a revision request or rejection. This also covers self-plagiarism — the verbatim or near-verbatim re-use of one's own previously published work without disclosure.

MIU Intellectual Property Policy

Copyrighted works — including published articles — are owned by their authors, regardless of the use of University resources, except where a work is specifically commissioned by MIU or arises from sponsored research, in which case the relevant agreement applies. Authors retain moral rights over their work, including the right to be credited as its author, in perpetuity.

Publication Ethics and Responsibilities

MIU Journals follow the ethical standards outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Our mission is to ensure transparency, fairness, and respect for intellectual contributions.

Authors: Must submit original, accurate, and verifiable work.
Editors: Should make fair and unbiased decisions based on merit.
Reviewers: Must maintain confidentiality and provide objective, constructive feedback.
Conflicts of Interest: Any potential bias must be declared before review or publication.

Open Access Policy

MIU Journals follow an open-access model, allowing free and unrestricted access to published research. This ensures global visibility and encourages the exchange of academic knowledge without financial barriers.

There are no submission charges. However, a small publication processing fee may apply upon acceptance to cover editorial, formatting, and online hosting costs. All fees are communicated clearly and transparently.

Call for Proposals

Metropolitan International University invites academicians, researchers, and scholars to submit innovative research manuscripts for publication in the MIU Journals. We welcome proposals that contribute to knowledge, technology, and sustainable development.

Research must align with the scope of MIU Journals.
Include an abstract, objectives, and methodology overview.
Each proposal undergoes editorial review before full submission approval.
