Abstract

The study investigated the relationship between motivation practices and employee performance in Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Central Division. The research examined how intrinsic and extrinsic motivation practices influenced employee productivity, service delivery, and overall performance effectiveness. A descriptive crosssectional survey design was employed, involving 184 employees from various departments including administration, finance, urban planning, health services, and community development. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis.
