Abstract
This study assessed the effectiveness of an online examination and evaluation system at Metropolitan International University (MIU) in Uganda. The specific objectives were: to evaluate the reliability and security of the online examination platform; to assess student satisfaction with the online evaluation system; and to determine the influence of the online evaluation system on academic performance. A descriptive survey research design was adopted. A sample of 140 respondents comprising students and academic staff was drawn from a target population of 310 using stratified random sampling.
