Ordinary least squares productivity function's restricted logarithmlikelihood function's value under the null hypothesis (H0) is -50.32, while the unpredictable Cobb-Douglas function's unrestricted log probability function's value under the alternative hypothesis (H1) is -46.759. This indicated that LR = -2*(-50.32+46.759) =7.122 was the generalized likelihood-ratio (LR) statistic for assessing the lack of a technological inefficiency effect from the frontier. This value was more than the 5% level of significance's crucial 1) (5%, 2 value of 3.84.
